How everything changed after my car accident

On the 19th of November 2023, my life changed.

Before that, I don’t think I fully understood anxiety, overthinking, or how heavy your own mind can feel.

After the accident, things were different.

My mind didn’t feel quiet anymore. Thoughts would loop. Small things felt overwhelming. And relaxing wasn’t as easy as it used to be.

The part people don’t always see

From the outside, life carries on.

But inside, it can feel completely different.

You might look fine — but your mind is racing. You’re tired, but you can’t switch off. You want to feel normal again, but you don’t quite know how.

What actually helped me

I didn’t find one big solution.

What helped was small things:

  • Building simple routines instead of trying to fix everything
  • Being a bit kinder to myself on harder days

None of it was instant — but it started to help.
